Tridem Pharma Cote d’Ivoire inaugurated by the Prime minister Patrick Achi



Abidjan, March 03, 2022 - The Prime Minister of Ivory Coast, Patrick Achi proceeded, on Thursday, March 03, 2022 in Abidjan, to the launch of the first pharmaceutical distribution hub in French-speaking sub-Saharan Africa of the Tridem Pharma Group, through its subsidiary Tridem Pharma Côte d'Ivoire.


Also present were: The Minister of Health, Public Hygiene and Universal Health Coverage, Pierre Dimba, the Managing Director of the Tridem Pharma Group :  Gino Formini, the Managing Director of Tridem Pharma Côte d'Ivoire : Hyacinthe Kouakou, and the Managing Director of Tridem Pharma Francophone Africa: Jean-Marc Bouchez.




The Prime Minister noted that, if producing medicines in Ivory Coast is an important thing, it should be integrated into a complete chain from production to distribution.


In this context, he thanked Tridem Pharma for its investments in Ivory Coast, and the willingness to link the production and logistics chain.


The Prime Minister said: "This act is part of the vision of the President of the Republic to make Ivory Coast a sub-regional hub in terms of drug production and pharmaceutical industry".



Hyacinthe Kouakou and Gino Formini recalled that this hub is dedicated to the distribution of pharmaceutical and parapharmaceutical products and medical devices. It will improve the availability of medicines in French-speaking sub-Saharan Africa.


"Wholesalers will be able to obtain supplies directly from Ivory Coast and no longer from France. They will also be able to deliver their products directly to neighbouring countries without going through France .... One of the advantages of Tridem Pharma's presence in Côte d'Ivoire is also the transfer of technology in terms of management methods and tools.
