On October 14th, Gino Formini, Managing Director of TRIDEM PHARMA, with the support of Jean Marc Bouchez General Manager of TPAF, Robin Chen Sales Director English-speaking Africa, has been received by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Ivory Coast, Mr Patrick Jérôme Achi and the Minister of Health, Mr Pierre Dimba.

The Ivorian Prime Minister welcomed the commitment of Tridem Pharma and Fosun Pharma group, its parent company, alongside the Ivorian authorities, to contribute to the country's self-sufficiency in the production of medicines, but also to the relocation of pharmaceutical distribution activities in Ivory Coast. 

This project will strengthen the manufacturing and distribution capacities of pharmaceutical products. The foundation stone for the drug manufacturing unit is scheduled to be laid in January 2022 and the work will be completed in 2023. 

The cost of the project is estimated at CFAF 50 billion and it will create 400 jobs.
